2016 Parade of Homes – Progress – Apr-12

We are installing the back deck on our 2016 Parade of Homes entry this week. These huge I-beams are 55 feet long, 22.5 feet tall and weigh 1000’s of pounds each. There was a little trouble when raising the first I-beam as you’ll see in the video. The I-beam actually swung back and hit the crane but we finally got it secured into place. One of the interesting features about this deck is we designed a free floating staircase on each end. Cant wait to see how they turn out.
